Jana Small Finance Bank Limited is the fourth largest Small Finance Bank in India in terms of Assets Under Management (AUM) and deposit size as of March 31, 2023 (Source: Fitch Report). As of that date, it operated 754 banking outlets, including 272 outlets in unbanked rural areas, across 22 states and two union territories. The bank has served nearly 12 million customers since its inception in 2008, with 4.57 million active customers as of March 31, 2023. Initially incorporated on July 24, 2006, as a non-banking finance company (NBFC), the company was awarded NBFC-MFI status in 2013 and began operating as a Small Finance Bank in March 2018.
